An Introduction

 

 

           The Robert E. Lee Civil War Round Table of Central New Jersey is dedicated to the study, preservation and discussion of the events and people that were part of this period in our nation’s history. The Round Table was organized in 1990, and meets once a month at 7:00 pm at the Woodbridge Main Public Library. Meetings are usually on the first Monday of the month, but may vary because of holidays and schedule conflicts at the Library.

            Presentations on various aspects of the Civil War are given by widely recognized authors and historians. Among presenters have been: Dale Gallon, Mike Priest, Ed Bearss, Jeffrey Wert, David Martin, Scott Hartwig, Jerry Russell, Pat Falci, Terry Winchel, Gordon Rhea, James McPherson, and Dennis Frye.
